Renewal of International Driving Permits (IDP)

Indian citizens in Jordan are allowed to renew their expired International Driving Permit (IDP) through Indian mission in Amman from 15.02.2021. The applicant has to visit the Mission and fill the Miscellaneous Consular Service form to avail the service. The mission would be charging JD 10 for the service (JD 8 + JD 2 as ICWF charges) and will issue a receipt to the applicant with the following details on it

  1. Name of the applicant as per Passport

  2. Expired IDP number of the applicant

  3. A certificate that applicant is the same as per passport photo on the expired IDP and is holding a valid Indian driving license

Applicant can then apply for fresh issue of IDP through the portal www.parivahan.gov.in and may upload the documents, including the receipt issued by the Mission. The licensing authority, on verification of the documents, would issue the IDP and courier it directly to the applicant.
